The StockResearchPortal.com website is structured to make publicly available information on companies more conveniently available for efficient (read ‘Significant Time Savings’) online research. It both systematically reproduces data available elsewhere, and programs that data in ways otherwise not found – at least by us. The website currently focuses only on Mining and Oil & Gas Companies traded on the Toronto and Toronto Venture Stock Exchanges, but in time may be expanded to cover Mining and Oil & Gas Companies traded on other exchanges.

When we first had the idea for the website we met with 20 Presidents of Canadian Mining and Oil & Gas Companies. All encouraged us to develop the website, and today there is great enthusiasm for its structure and content as we review the ‘live’ website with company executives. You may be interested in knowing that demographic studies suggest there may be as many as 7 million retail investors in Canada and the United States (and perhaps 10 million worldwide) who have more than $100,000 invested directly or indirectly in equity markets and who do some or all of their own Internet investment research.

The website is a comprehensive data source for retail investors, institutional investors, fund managers, investment advisors, analysts, investor relations professionals, and Mining and Oil & Gas Company executives who want to systematically research Mining and Oil & Gas Sectors investment ideas. Its recent introduction is believed timely given current stock market volatility, state of the U.S. economy, U.S. $ weakness, commodity demand and supply economics, and interest in precious metals.

The website’s unique data organization and features promote extensive and highly efficient research. The website’s objective is to save you significant amounts of time when researching stocks, to empower you to develop new investment ideas and better monitor existing investments, and to promote better Investor/Investor Advisor communication and cooperation.

The website currently includes approximately 40 economic, industry and company specific data components. We have plans to add at least 30 additional complementary data components over the next few months.
